Less than you'd expect — because we're transparent. Candidates see exactly what is checked before consenting, no automated decision can end their session, and raw video is deleted after the review window. We monitor the machine, not the person.

What happens when someone is falsely flagged?

Nothing automatic. A flag is weighted evidence for a human proctor, never a verdict. Reviewers see the full context — timestamps, confidence scores, replayable evidence — and most single low-confidence signals are dismissed in seconds.

What do candidates need to install?

A lightweight app for proctored sessions — desktop (macOS and Windows) or mobile (iOS and Android). Native checks can't run in a browser tab, which is exactly why browser-based tools miss overlay assistants. The mobile app also acts as the optional secondary room camera. Interviewers and proctors work entirely in the browser.

How is payment handled?

All billing runs through Stripe on this website — card details never touch our servers. Monthly plans are self-serve and cancel anytime; institution and enterprise contracts are invoiced annually.

Where is our data stored, and for how long?

Recordings are stored encrypted in write-once storage and deleted automatically after your configured review window. Audit metadata is retained longer for dispute defense. Data residency options are available on institution and enterprise plans.
